What began as a way to honor Helen's life has grown into a mission to improve bereavement care for families experiencing pregnancy loss, infant loss, and infertility. Through partnerships with hospitals, healthcare providers, and community organizations, the Helen James Foundation works to ensure that families facing the unimaginable receive the support, dignity, and resources they deserve.
Funds raised support initiatives such as CuddleCots and other memory-making resources, dedicated bereavement rooms, enhanced labor and delivery suites, grief libraries, staff education and training, and assistance with funeral and memorial expenses. We also support programs that help families navigate the emotional and practical challenges that accompany loss.
Since 2018, the Helen James Foundation has supported families across the United States, Mexico, and Latin America, extending Helen's legacy of love, compassion, and hope to those who need it most.
