HJF has established the Helen James Library at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN where Helen was born and also at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. The libraries provide books for families to take home to help with their grief process as well as explain the loss of their baby to older children. Please visit our Amazon Wish List to donate a book. HJF has had the honor of helping create a Family Bereavement Room established at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. The room provides a space of comfort and healing along with clothing for infants so families may dress and photograph their child during their time of mourning and recovery.

The Helen James Labor + Delivery ROOm

HJF has partnered with Texas Health Resources to further our mission to support bereaving families. The Margot Perot Center at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX has undergone a massive renovation for their 40th anniversary with a key focus on an all encompassing Bereavement Program. HJF is supporting their efforts through a contribution towards an L&D Room and Bereavement Room.
